Cardio fitness is important to everyone. Cardio fitness is important to everyone. Quality cardio workouts can help everybody reach their health and fitness goals, whether those goals include new personal records for competition, lowering blood pressure, reducing cholesterol levels, managing diabetes, or walking an extra mile per day. People of all levels of fitness can benefit –from highly fit individuals to people trying to lose a few pounds to those who are experiencing or rehabilitating from one of many physical conditions that impact our heart and overall health.

The problem is that most exercise programs are not personalized or customized according to a person’s size, shape, current fitness level, and physiological features. Each of us is unique and beautiful, and it’s important that our physical activity program be designed just for us. This is where Digifit comes into play! Our system helps you succeed, because it adjusts to your unique build and fitness level to produce results consistent with your goals using four simple keys: Assess, Enable, Sweat, and Succeed.


1. Assess

Assess


First, assess your new tool. It only takes a few minutes. Launch the app and see how it works before you actually go for a workout. See this section for a list of features that will help you become familiar with the app. Understanding these tools will help guide you through the process and increase your enjoyment of your workout.

Second, assess your current fitness level. Using our Fitness Assessments can help you learn a lot about your heart, including your max heart rate during exercise, and your current fitness level. They are designed to create your own personal training zones and estimate your current fitness level. These in turn allow you to have more effective workouts directed towards achieving your goals.

Third, assess your goals. Are you looking to race for a time goal? For fun? To lose weight? Just to stay fit? Your thoughts will have a lot to do with shaping the next few steps, so keep it real and remember to enjoy the journey! The next step is all about choosing a goal and direction, then setting a plan to get you where you want to go, even if it is as simple as, "Get Fit, Stay Healthy."

Digifit was created to enable you to reach your goals by tracking and reporting on your progress and efforts. In other words, Digifit was born to help you succeed. This second key to cardio fitness is all about identifying what you want to get out of your workouts - your desires and goals - then developing a plan on how to get there and stay there. Once you have the tools and know your personalized training zones (which we enable you to get through Assessments), you have everything you need, to do anything you want.

There is nothing you can't do when you know your body and your potential. You can run your first 5K race or marathon, lose 5 pounds, push yourself to grow past any previous boundaries, or maintain your fitness level. Digifit enables you to design a complete cardio program that gives you the most benefit along your goal path, tracking all the metrics you need to get there – effort level, heart rate, , caloric expenditure, carb vs fat burn, pace, distance, speed, cadence, and turnover.It’s all you need, depending on your needs.

Sweat Equity. You get out what you put in. While we have worked very hard to provide you with everything you need to hit your goals, get fit, and stay healthy, there is still a big part that has to come from you. That’s the effort itself.

We can give you the tools and some motivation, but without your efforts… well, lets take the positive look instead; with your efforts, the sky is the limit, there’s no goal too big or too small. You can rock the planet and show the world you love it! Learn to love the sweat – it’s your brain telling your body you love it and care enough to provide what’s good for it.
